Energetic Hygiene: Why Cleansing Your Aura Is Just as Important as Showering

Most of us wouldn’t dream of going days without showering. We cleanse our physical bodies daily without a second thought. But how often do we stop to consider our energetic body?
Just like our physical body, our energy field — often called the aura — picks up residue from daily life. Stress, emotional conversations, busy environments, other people’s moods, work pressures, social media, and even places we visit can all leave energetic imprints behind.
Over time, this build-up can leave us feeling drained, foggy, irritable, heavy, or simply “not ourselves” — even when nothing obvious seems wrong.
This is where energetic hygiene comes in.
What Is Energetic Hygiene?
Energetic hygiene is the practice of regularly clearing, cleansing, and realigning your energy field so it remains balanced, protected, and flowing freely.
Think of it this way:
A shower cleanses the physical body
Energetic cleansing clears emotional and energetic build-up
Neither is a luxury — both are forms of essential self-care.
When we neglect our energy, it doesn’t disappear. It accumulates.

Intentional showers: Visualising stress and heaviness washing away
Crystals or gentle meditation: Supporting energetic balance
